For many years, I served as the Cantorial Soloist at Congregation Shalom, in North Chelmsford, MA, where I was responsible for Shabbat services, B'nai Mitzvah, Holiday services and special programs. I also was the song leader/teacher for the music in the Hebrew and Sunday schools, directed the childrens’ choir, and taught music appreciation in the middle/high school and Adult Ed programs.

I served in similar capacities at Temple Isaiah in Lexington, MA, Temple Shalom Emeth in Burlington, MA and Temple Eytz Chaim in Franklin, MA -- and at Congregation B'nai Torah in Sudbury, MA, and Temple Beth David of the South Shore in Canton, MA. While there, I was also the Chazzan for the High Holidays leading worship in the classical style (piano and choir) -- and with more contemporary, as well as some traditional offerings, self-accompanied with guitar.

Over the years, I have been the principal baritone soloist in various congregational choirs and have been featured, as a musical prayer leader, at both the National and New England regional URJ Biennials, and in Israel.

And, I have co-officiated at many unaffiliated b'nai mitzvah, weddings, funerals; done general song leading; and have given performances at assemblies, programs, concerts, rallies & special events
